christmas contest
is there a contest going on this year that i dont know about ? i think that some people think that they will win a big prize if they keep their christmas decorations up the longest. christmas is over . i have driven thru dozens of places this week and i am seeing christmas stuff everywhere . from trees to glow in the dark santa clauses in the front yard. i have to admit i am a little over christmas now . my problem is that christmas starts too early and goes too long . i have an idea , lets celebrate christmas in december .. does anyone feel this way too, or am i unamerican??

I must say that I become less and less a fan of christmas each year. sometimes I feel like the word, "gross" should be attached to it. At least, around here the rich people are too worried about what others think to keep their christmas light, etc. up - so that pay someone to take them down on time - probably the same person they payed to decorate their house. No, I'm not making that up.
I think christmas would be much more emotional and exiting if we just celebrated in December. We should all do what I do and pretend that it's not really close to christmas at all...THEN, ALL OF A SUDDEN IT'S CHRISTMAS!! Since my family's traveling schedule is wierd I've never gotten up on Christmas morning and opened presents in my pajamas. So this year I woke up early, started a huge fire, make cocoa and coffee, and played christmas music real loud (as to wake Leslianne up). Yes, I was in my pajamas.
HEY! If you and I are ever near each other, say in November, let's go to a mall and picket, "CHRISTMAS IS IN DECEMBER!!" or "STOP THE CELEBRATION...SO EARLY!"
