faceless

mute math just rocked my face off. i have no face. its gone. the next time you see me you will not recognize me. this band just blew me away(again). i saw them in concert and lemme tell ya, they got stupid. they are the sickest band i have ever seen. i think they are the most creative band ive seen in the last decade. i went to the cd release party expecting them to be very good but wow. they have taken music to a new level. do yourself a favor and buy their cd. the lead singer paul was in a band called earthsuit. we did some shows together a few years ago. i am now very excited to introduce you to my new favorite band mute math. see for yourself, www.mutemath.com

So it was the day of my dad's birthday and I still had no present to give to him. I hopped(yes hopped) over to our christian bookstore. I saw three cds on sale. One of those cds was MuteMath. My father is a high school math teacher so I figured I could get away with this cd, since it said Math and all. Well he ended up LOVING it. Since then we have seen them in concert twice, and he has even met them. Any band that can have that kind of effect on a 48 year old, math teacher deserves some credit. So I'll definitly agree that they are pretty sweet. (and to think it all started with Math)

so mad i couldn't go...
you should've called me during the show.
oh, but cali is amazing.
see you in a few days!
ps. i was apart of a protest in san francisco today.
i chanted "we didn't cross the border, the border crossed us" with about 400 other mexicans.
and by 400 i mean, you know how bad auny and i are at estimating people, so there were a lot.
i don't really know what that chant meant, i just know they weren't happy about something with imigration.
ha.
oh protesting, how lame is it.
