real

i was just informed that it was kids day at disney world. i didnt know.
ok this weekend was exciting. we had shows in orlando. they went really well. after the friday night show we rushed out to the daytona supercross. we didnt think we would get there in time. we drove fast and parked and ran into the stadium. as soon as we got in the race started. the race was over in 30 minutes. then we fought traffic back to orlando for a little bit of sleep.
we got up early and did another show saturday morning. then we loaded out. as i was driving our semi-truck stephy was backing out my pickup truck. i had the joy of watching her crash it into a wall.
the weekend had times of major stress and we were definitely stretched. from problems backstage to problems on stage. the audience never knew the difference. but we had to work overtime to correct the problems. it made us work fast and long.
last night we went for dinner and had a blast with each other. we were speaking to people in different languages. even though i only speak english.(and i am still learning). it was fun and we laughed.
after that we went and watched stephy get tattooed. also our friend, kayla got her nose pierced. stephy squeeled and giggled the whole time.
later we played a game where we answered questions with one word. the question was "describe your life, how you feel about it". i answered "real". in one weekend i saw God change peoples lives through my ministry, we saw drama, we had , fun, we laughed, some of us cried. this is life, the good, the bad, the ugly. i didnt like some of it and some of it i loved. but this is my life... and its real

i answered unpredictable.
that day proved to be unpredictable...
from not knowing if we were going to have a hotel room that night, to backing the truck into the wall, to getting a tattoo...
life is just unpredictable.
and all i can do when that stuff happens is laugh.
but you know this...
first hand.
see you when you get back from alaska.
