mentor
every tuesday morning, if i am home, i meet with my mentor. i get advice on things and i get to learn from someone wiser than me. i love it. no matter how busy or tired i am i wont miss it. i have learned the value of having a mentor, or not having a mentor. do you have a mentor? if not, why not? we should all have a person in our lives that we can learn from. it can be formal or informal. we need to all be learning from people we respect.

yes i have. my boyfriend. sounds strange, but he is the principal. i have learned much of him.
from Sara_ I guess you could say that right now, my momma and daddy are my mentors. sometimes i want to listen to them, and other times i don't. but i obey and honor and listen to them.
I think that my dad is my mentor. he always has awsome advice. and he knows how to give it to me without me knowing he is.
I have been thinking on this alot lately.
There is a women in my church who is about 20 years older than me, who I greatly respect, that I would like to approach about mentoring me!
I also feel that it is very important to have someone in your life to hold you accountable and encourage you where you fall short and maybe just be a cheerleader sometimes!!!
By the way, you make the best shishkabobs EVER!!! I think you should open Brock's Shishkabob Grill!
Thank you for being SO hospitable last weekend!
i had fun making grilling for you guys. when i come to florida you will have to grill for me..
you guys should ask someone to be a mentor to you. dont be shy. all they can say is no.
....except for the one day when your mentor accidentally doesn't show...ooops...sorry, won't happen again...
