more than fanmail
i get emails everyday from people all over the country. i read almost all of them. sometimes one will stick out as special. here is one of those special emails that is more than fanmail.
hey brock! you we're in my area not too long ago and i just wanted to say
that i think your awesome! you probably don't remember.
but anyways i've gone through a lot of tough times in the past and i got to
be one of those kids who wears all black, listens to heavy metal, has low
self esteem, and cuts on themselves...but after going to your shows
i relized that i need to turn my life
around and go the direction of jesus christ. so i just wanted to say thank
you for opening up my eyes!!!

you must be proud of you.
i am proud of you.
you help people to change their lifes. as you change mine. well, not change, but you make me know that i was getting out of the road. you fix one part of my life. the most important part.
You are an angel.
from Sara_ That is such a wonderful thing to hear. You should print out that letter and whenever you're having a tough time with your job, read that letter and maybe you'll realize the greatness you're doing.
