uncle brock
i just became an uncle a few hours ago. its wierd to think that my younger sister is old enough to be married and have a baby. i am not sure how to handle this uncle thing. i am so new at it, i might not get it. i hope i dont mess it up. i tried to find a book on "how to be an uncle", but i couldnt find anything. im not sure about this uncle thing. i guess its cool. it feels the same as it did yesterday when i was just a boring old non-uncle. does anyone have any advice on how to be a succesful uncle? if so i sure would like to know. i have met some uncles but i never thought to get advice on just how they do it. please help. im scared.

it is not so difficult. there is no guide to how trate her or him. it just happen. it will come out from your heart. dont worry. you will deal with it. i am sure.
I am stinkin serious on this one - buy Bring Your Daughter to Work Day, episode 18 from The Office, on iTunes. You will find a plethora of info on how to be an uncle. :) Watch it near a bathroom so you don't wet your pants. Maybe my favorite show of all time.

from Sara_ aaww! i'm an aunt, and it is awesome. the thing is my nephew looks just like me! It's kewl cuz u can spoil them. U should spoil ur nephew or neice.

Congrats! Being an uncle is not so hard. I became an uncle about two years ago and it has been nothing short of fantastic. You just be the funnest you can be, and spoil them while they are young. If you have any questions...give me a call, and I can give you a few pointers.
no kids for me. im too young for that. think she had a girl but i havent seen it to confirm that
my advice to you is to always be yourself. as i recall you were always a great role model and mentor to me even if you didn't realize it. sure, we made some crank calls and you guys scared me on stagecoach road a few times...but in the end, i took away some lessons and to this day consider you one of my greatest friends. you're going to be spectacular because that's just what you do. don't fret. you're sure to make an impact on him/her in a positive manner. i mean afterall, i haven't had to get therapy yet...
