arthur blessitt
when jesus said take up your cross daily, arthur blessitt took it literally. God gave him a special calling, as weird as it may sound, to take a cross and walk around the world. he holds the record for the longest walk. he has walked thru every country. the amazing thing is that he has lead thousands of people to jesus around the world. all he does is walk. people ask him why he has a cross and he tells them. i am amazed at this mans testimony. he has been beat up and left for dead, robbed, arrested, and abused but he keeps going. today i was in downtown denver and i saw author walking. i immediately hung up the phone and rushed over to meet him. he wanted to pray for me so of course i let him. i had always heard that he a notch in his shoulder from carrying that cross so when we prayed i put my hand on his shoulder and felt where that cross has laid for decades. i dont believe that everyone should go out and carry a wooden cross around with them but for arthur blessitt it was a calling by God. today i was blessed to meet someone i have respected for 12 years. he is one of the real rebels for jesus, a powerful soul winner, and inspiration. today i was blessed by arthur blessitt

Hey Brock, I don't know when Bro. Blessit started, but I know he was big news when I was in college, early 70's. Apparently his display of the cross was not just an attention getter but a true calling of God. A strange calling but what a powerful witness for God. I'm impressed about your meeting. I think God had a divine meeting for you two. You should e-mail him your comments about him. It will be another affirmation for him of God's calling. Pam

he is by far and away one of the most AMAZING people i have ever met. his son joshua is no exception either. they are of the same mold. 7 years ago i got the opportunity to spend several days with the blessit family and i was forever changed. author and his son joshua are the real deal. i am blessed everytime i hear their names.

I go to Heritage Christian Center in Denver, Co. Arthur is on staff there for our Evangelism/Outreach. I know him well and am currently working with his son Joshua for night street evangelism and also his son Joel. He truly does know the Lord. We are having a miracle fast soon. It will last a week and we're believing God for salvation of the lost and healings. Please keep us lifted up in prayer. Great post!
