and the passion burns inside me

the john karr circus, iran nuke drama, israel and lebanon, global warming, crooked politicians, and k-fed. all of this is the headline news. i get overwhelmed watching the news. i think that the news can be depressing. it shows you the worlds problems all at once. im not sure we are made to handle all of that at once. i see the problems in darfur and floods and fires in america. terrorism is knocking at the door. with all of this i want to be able to fix it. i want to make it all go away. i see lost people all around. i see people who are hurting. people who have wasted their lives and now realize it. i see people with no nope what so ever. i hear about kids being abused by their parents and parents being abused by their kids. in the past week i have seen more than 1 local pastor fall. i see families detroyed. i want to do something about it. i need to do ministry. we all need to do ministry. i feel peoples hurt and pain, and the passion burns inside me

I had like a three hour conversation tonight with someone about this very thing. It's so disheartening to see all this junk going on in the world, and having the desire to make a difference..yet feeling incapable, sometimes. Or, being rendered useless by peers. I dunno, there are just so many "Christians" who preach this idea of "free thought" and it is literally killing people. So many people hide behind the excuse of tolerance and won't share the faith that is the only cure to this madness. I'm so frustrated that the people who claim the same name of Christ as I say we should let people believe whatever they choose wherever they are because we have no right to decide for them. But, we have the resposibility to them to inform them of the salvation that could be theirs..a peace amongst this insanity.

i will like to introduce to everybody's head and turn them switch so they stop doing that!

i wish i could do it...

Like jesus replied in Matthew 22:37-40

"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."

and the love is...

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres."

1 Corinthians 13:4-7

This is everything we need to know and do.

If you love your neighbor, you will not hurt him.
