black friday
black friday is the day after thankdgiving. its the biggest shopping day for all of america. its so exciting. people get to start shopping at 4am and go till midnight. yay...
if you lined up at a store at 3am friday morning then you need to have your head examined. i watched on tv at countless news stories about people rushing into the stores and injuring fellow shoppers and staff in the process. are the sales so big that its worth risking injury. some people ended up in the hospital. one guy got a broken jaw. i think it is total insanity. america is out of control.
some people that i talked to about these so called sales said that the stores didnt even have the item that was advertised. and that was early in the day. the sales clerk said they never saw it. weird huh? sounds like a big trick.
i would rather sleep in and buy some stuff next week. if it costs more then ok. but believe me there are plenty more sales. im not waiting in line before daylight so i can fight over a toaster. forget that. actually i try to get my shopping done before halloween. if i need to finish shopping then i will do it when its not so crazy.

anybody have any crazy shopping stories?
once, when I was working at HEB two women got in a fist fight over a loaf of bread.
i guess neither wanted wheat?
must of had a storm on the way. people go crazy buying bread and milk if they think that bad storms are coming.. why is that?
i never have seen nothing like that....
i went into work at 5:30 that morning, and there were already i think like a million people waiting in line for their coffee. it was actually really sad. my starbucks normally has about 1500 people come in daily, black friday it had over 2100.
people and their starbucks.. also scary. its like a drug for some people

and the coffee is not the best coffee i ever prove.
my husband was in an accident Friday morning, he was on his way to work and a SUV full of shoppers on its way to walmart ran a red light. It caused him to hit them and it ended up with their vehicle up on its side. Thank God for protection and favor. No one was injured other than just being sore. There were a total of 6 early bird shoppers in that SUV if would have flipped once more they could have all been crushed. All because they were in a hurry. The accident happened at 4:55 and the store opened at 5, guess they thought they were running late and could get there quicker by running the light.
I once deliberately postponed Christmas shopping until Christmas Eve. Boy, was that an idiotic thing to do. I came out of it feeling absolutely homicidal. Every human being on the planet was psychotic that night.
P.S. Brock, if I could take Starbucks intravenously, I would. It's a holdover from L.A. :)
