the fallen
i have recently had two friends who are in ministry fall. adultery seems to be getting alot of ministers. i am not even shocked anymore. i am not surprised but at the same time i am shocked and surprised. i dont know if that makes sense. i am very effected by my friends who have fallen. it is messy. there is no easy way out of something like that. i guess the main thing that i have thought about lately is prevention. i dont want to fall into sin. i am only a moment away from it at all times. that makes me scared. so i have to put all faith in God. i trust him to protect me. it also reminds me to have a team of people who will pray for me. i believe that the devil hates me and what i do. if you are effecting lives then you are on the devils hit list. i need your prayers. if you are new to the daily blog community that we have here then here is something for you. and a reminder to the rest of you guys. i need people to pray for auny and i in 3 major ways. they all begin with the letter "p". i need power, protection, and provision. without people praying for these things in my life i will disappear. my ministry will disappear. God showed me a few years ago to pray for these things. i am not above falling. it happens to people everyday. i have only one hope, Jesus.

i know my youth minister just got divorced.. but she cheated on him and cuz she met a guy behind his back.. i feel so sorry for him..
When you say fallen, what would you say they fell from?
Just curious. I have been in some convo about this since Haggard, etc.

Gods grace is bigger than we can imagine. a dumb mistake will not make us fall from grace. the only difference between my friends who have fallen into this sin and others is that they got caught. and it seems bigger because they were semi-famous. adultery is not a bigger sin then pride or gluttony. it may have more costly consequences in some cases. i think that there is a huge amount of grace for one who screws up in even the worst way. if i get drunk and run a red light and hit a school bus killing 100 kids there is no difference in the guy who got drunk at his house new years eve. it looks worse because of the situation. its hard to swallow but its the same thing. much different results and much different consequences. one guy will do time for murder and the other will go to work on monday. but Gods grace is the same, its sufficient..

no. i have one too so i was curious to see if anyone has used your name. you make a screen name, a person, name them, dress them, and get a house. its cool. hey, i was in clinton the other day and i got your autograph on the power 1:08 pamplet. you smiled real big at me and im the only one out of my youth group that got a smiley on the pamplet along with your autograph. i dunno if u remember me or not, but why did you do that? i didn't have something in my teeth or something? did i look stupid?
you didnt look stupid but i prolly did. i think we should smile more. everytime you look at that you can remember to smile..
