bad news for my friend

i just got some bad news from my friend in georgia. my friend cec had his house burn down yesterday. they lost everything. whats worse is, his son in law died in the fire. i am so sad for my friend right now..

cec is the guy who is helping me right my book right now. he is a top selling author, he wrote a book that is big right now called "90 minutes in heaven" with don piper. i really like this guy. he is a man of God.

please pray for my friend and his family. his full name is cecil murphey. in the comments i will leave a list of needs that they have right now. maybe we as a blog community can help cec in this time of loss.

WOOOW!
I'm in shock!!
This is really sad....

I'll see what i can do.

This is complement to the past post too. The material things are not permanent, even the life is not permanent. We need to live in the moment and to be grateful with what we have.

I'll definitive pray for cec and rob.

Oh gosh, Brock...I'm so far away, and I don't know if I can help...but I want to. I have lots of stuff I'm going to be getting rid of if I move across country, and many of which are on your list. I'll email you to try and find a way to ship them.

In the meantime, I'm going to send a check to the address you posted. I can't afford much, but I'll give whatever I can.

Please tell your friends that they're not out there in the dark alone.
