grilling in the snow
today i grilled out at a friends house. he was having a party for all of the race guys and friends and others who are into the racing industry. i have no idea how many people were there. we had $600 worth of meat to grill. we had steaks, chicken, lamb, pork, and salmon to name a few. i hit the grill for 4 hours strait. i had a blast outside grilling in the snow. i cooked all of the meat and everyone ate til they were stuffed. i have to say the racks of lamb were the best.
we ate and watched some dirt bike racing. it was a celebration of our friend kevin johnson and team faith winning first place for the weekend and third for the season. one more time, congrats to team faiths kevin johnson for the winning season.
oh, and get this, after winning all weekend kevin told me that the best part of the year was last night right before the race started. he said that a guy came up to him to talk about his faith. he knew God was trying to show him a sign. the guy knew that it was time for him to surrender his life to jesus. the guy commited to follow jesus right there in front of 40 people in the pits. thats what it is all about.
last thing. make sure you go out tomorrow and buy the new cd from "group one crew". they are one of the bands who is on our team for freedom experience. lets support them.

i wanna grill in the snow! instead i ate taco bell in a car! lol. nothing beats good ole taco bell! that is great for the guy who surrenedered his life to christ. that was a big step!
Okay . . . it's official. Your mother has lost her mind. I spent my Sunday afternoon--when I could have been taking a good nap--watching ARENACROSS!!!!!!!!! That's right. I watched ARENACROSS! Never in a million years would I have thought I would spend a Sunday afternoon in front of the TV watching a motorcycle race! But what is even more bizarre is that I was yelling "Come on Kevin, hang in there Kevin, he's getting closer Kevin!" I got Dad in there watching also when he heard all the commotion.
Give our congrats to Kevin. I am so glad it is over, however, because my stomach was tied in knots. This motorcycle racing is rough! :o
And now to know that he led one of his friends to the Lord is just awesome. As you would say, Brock, . . . Woooooooooow!

i cant believe u eat lamb! i mean i could eat all the other meat that sounds good but i could never eat lambs they are 2 close 2 goats and that would hurt annie and sams feelings! and man brock u got the coolest mom!

to pedro: i think it would be awesome 2 be an animal cop! but i could never ever be a vet cause i couldnt do surgery but other wise it would be great

Hey Brock!
I went to St Augustine, Fl. this weekend to visit friends. We watched the movie "The Illusionist." It was wonderful! One thing....did you catch it that the chain on the necklace changed? It changed three times during the course of the movie..first it was shiny gold, then gold link, then a leather chain. I wonder if anyone else noticed it?
