no luggage....again
just flew back to nashville from texas. great flight but one problem, no luggage. that is the second time in the past couple weeks that they have lost my bags. whats wrong with these baggage handlers? many times they manage to break or lose the contents of my bags, and on occasion they loose them all together. oh well, i guess i dont really need a toothbrush or my shoes. i dont need any of my magic props or dvds. 2 weeks ago they managed to loose all of my cash that i left in my suitcase. its not their fault tho, we shouldnt have left it in a safe place. im amazed at how unprofessional the process is. according to (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/16811248/) one in 150 passengers have mishandled bags. the number topped out in 2006 at nearly 4 million bags. if you try to call customer service then goodluck. call them now and you may get them on the phone before friday. its kinda funny to me to be honest. i dont get upset at it because i have come to expect it. how bout you guys? any airport drama?

I have had baggage incidents before and it is one of those inherit risks. Once as I was travelling we flew into Dallas and drove to Houston. A day or to later they had someone bring our bag to where we were staying in Houston. Front door delivery!

About the luggage.... i don't have that experience yet. Because i always travel by earth.
but i think if some day they loose my luggage i will cry and i'll fight until they give it to me! hahaahaha i think i really do.
i haven't experienced that..yet. and i hope i never will, but i do, i will everything to get my stuff back.

You are NOT alone, Brock. Seems like they search my luggage on a regular basis--especially if I have some craft tools packed. Last year when I flew from Orlando to Baltimore my luggage was LOST and I was scheduled to depart for Europe the next day. They said that they would deliver it--Rhonda asked them if they would deliver it to Wassanaar, Netherlands....It was there the next morning!
BTW, don't EVER put money in checked luggage! Not unless you can afford to loose it!

I still don't get how this happens so often... All the bags are labeled... Take the bag, put it on the plane... then put the bag on the conveyor belt...

to answer you barbara about the bbc. the bbc and discovery channel co-produced the project. they were then released to dvd. one version was released by the bbc and the other by discovery. they are basically the same. i prefer the bbc version because there is a little less that was cut out for time. also the bbc version has a better narrator. make sense?

One time I flew out of Little Rock to Kentuky. I have this giant flight case for my guitar and I checked it; because I can. At that point they weren't letting you have your guitar as a carry on. It was a direct flight and yet they seemed to lose it on the way to Kentuky. I think the air flight grimlins tossed it out of the plane. I got to the Kentuky airport, with no guitar, to play an event. They said they didn't know where it was. I said, "That's a problem." They said they would find it and get it to me in a week OR SO. I asked if they would have it sent to the event location. I got it the last day of the event just before I went to the airport to leave.
I wonder what crabby lawyer is going to bring a huge lawsuit against the airline co. for being so reckless. It really is just something we accept as normal and acceptable.
I carried my firearm in my baggage the other day. That was fun.
I haven't ever been in an airplane before but hope to one day i think it would be fun!
