panic on sunday

thousands of kids woke up to empty easter baskets today. according to cnn news, there is panic breaking out around the world because of the lack of easter fun that usually comes on this sunday morning.
the fbi got a ransom note about an hour ago that read, "i have kidnapped the easter bunny... i want your money...from jack frost". it seems that jack frost has kidnapped the easter bunny. oh no!! what are we gonna do? easter is dead without the bunny. apparently, the easter bunny has been replaced with nothing but cold weather.

to emphasize easter we should remember what it is all about. the reason we even have a chance at faith is because of the resurrection. jesus was resurrected from the dead. you can celebrate it with a bunny and a basket of eggs if you want, but the reason is all about the living jesus. he lives and thats all that matters today.

hope the easter bunny escapes. i hear jack frost can be a punk.
