shannon likes nachos
at the dove awards we wanted to have some fun. i did some tricks and got to hang out with friends backstage. also, i got some extra tickets for some of my friends so they could enjoy the show. right before i got on stage i got a text message from shannon our road manager. it said, "you have to use the words shannon and nachos in the same sentence". i have a reputation for sneaking in words on stage as per request. so here is what they got. they announced the nominees for country album of the year, then it was my turn to open the envelope. i walked up to the mic and said "shannon likes nachos", then in the same breath said "the country album award goes to...". no one even picked up on it except the 3 giggly girls in the front row of the mezzanine.
question... if you were at the doves, did you hear me say it???
