luis palau-cityfest

this weekend i am helping ut with the luis palau cityfest. it is a large festival with an evangelistic appeal. i have worked with the palau organization for several years but never in my home town. the festival has many bands playing on the main stage. the stage happens to be right in the heart of downtown. it is right in the middle of the street. its huge. also, there is an action sports area. pro skaters and bmxers are doing shows as well as freestyle motocross by team faith. we got to see IFMA winner greg hartman pull a huge 75 foot backflip on his motorcycle.
this is a chance for people of nashville to unite for a cause that is greater than they can imagine. it is a rare opportunity to impact a city. the churches can unite together to do more than they could by themselves. this is something that nashville will be talking about for a while.
