put people first
i try to put people first as much as i can. usually it works out that it is most beneficial to me to do that. every time i go to a restaurant i try to make the waiter feel good. i try to make them feel like i care about them. i thank them as much as i can and compliment the food. i try to make them feel like they did an awesome job. well here is what happens. first of all, they smile. they seem to have a better day. also, i get some perks. last night we were at pf changs, one of my favorite places to eat, and our waiter remembered us from a couple of months ago. he was so excited to wait on us. he said that he remembered us and where we were sitting at the table. apparently we had been extra nice to him because we wanted our table. before our meal came out, he brought out a new dish for us to try for free. he totally hooked us up with free food. auny and i realized that this sort of thing happens to us all the time. i think it is because we are just being nice. being kind to people really pays off. its not like i am trying to get something from people. when i am nice it makes me feel good. tonight we at another place and i watched the waiters fight over who was going to wait on me. they knew that i was going to treat them nice and therefore wanted to take care of me.
i think people need to take notice. notice people, and you will make a difference.

a few years ago, i walked into a restaurant in a random city along the intestate. the waitress, said heelo to me and said hey you are that magician. apparently i had remembered me from a year earlier. i had no idea but she remembered. try to put people first and see what happens

When you are nice people are usually nice in return. I think it is uber cool that all that stuff happens to you at resturants.

I wish that I could wait on you and Auny! I am a waitress, and I do appreciate it when people act like you do! Especially when you have to wait on rude people that expect their food as soon as you write down their order! This puts a smile on my face to know that you put effort into being nice to your waiter/waitress! I thank you!
