happy sexy sixty
my dad turns sixty today. last week we had a little party for him backstage at freedom experience. someone got him a cake and it said, "happy sexy sixty". he laughed at that quite a bit. we all thought it was funny.
my dad is awesome. he is an inspiration to me. he is a huge believer in me and has been my biggest supporter. he is the kind of guy who everyone likes to be around. he has taught me so much about life without even knowing. he is someone that i want to pattern my life after. he is someone that really reminds me of jesus. for all of you that have met my dad then you know what i mean, he has a gift with people that is amazing.
i want to do something great for his birthday but i just dont know what would be worthy on my budget. so here is an idea. he likes to laugh, so lets make him laugh. lets fill up the comments with things that are funny. jokes, stories, inside jokes. anything goofy. the crazier the better. if you want to email something that you dont want the world to read then send it to him at info@brockgill.com . lets make this fun and get crazy.

ok, so i'm horrible at jokes, so i'm not even going to attempt it. this isn't die-laughing funny, but maybe it will make him smile. remember, bro. roger, when we came to you house last spring and we hadn't been there 5 minutes when we looked over and our son had his britches down around his ankles, relieving himself in clear view of everyone in your yard? yeah...good times. :)
i know exactly what you mean, brock. bro. roger, you aren't my dad (although i was over at your house alot like you were), but you are such an inspiration to me and i also want to model you in many ways. you are truly such a Godly example and we love you very much. thanks for your influence and your caring for all of us throughout the years.
