evel knievel
monday is the funeral for the legend known as evel knievel. he was an inspiration to me and many others. he was the best stunt man who ever lived. his courage and bravery has been an inspiration to me for many years.
i was supposed to meet evel a few months ago but we missed each other. we were taping a television show in california.
what most people do not know is that, although evel was known as a rough dude, he gave his life to jesus in march. watch this video and see is amazing testimony. he will be missed. he was the creator of high adrenaline stunts and an entertainment genre that we will live with forever. he was extreme in every way, even in his faith. you will be inspired by his appearance on the tv program below. watch this and tell me what you think.

for some amazing footage of evel jumping his motorcycle try to search him on you tube. amazing stuff.
It is so wonderful to hear his testimony. It is so real. I love that he does not use "church" words, but he speaks from his heart. I am amazed at the way he described God just reaching down to him. Then to throw the devil out of his life and over the balcony - what a wonderful image.
