marcus and rachel
today i was on the phone leaving a message for an old friend. his name is marcus and he married a girl named rachel. we were trying to hook up for dinner because i am in birmingham al right now and that is where he lives. as soon as i get off the phone i get an email on my phone from marcus and rachel that says hello and hi and blah blah blah. i replied to it and said lets do dinner at 7pm. i got an email back that said "call me". so i picked up the phone and called marcus. we talked briefly and settled our dinner plans. simple.
at dinner i said to marcus, "so you are going to texas huh?" he said "yep, gonna go see the family". i said "see ya at the show in the woodlands.". he said "huh?". i said, "you said in the email, 'see ya at the woodlands tx show in febuary.". he looked confused so i showed him the email. as i did i realized, i have a cousin named marcus, married to a girl named rachel and he had been the one to email me. it was so weird. i never talk to marcus(the cousin) and i never see marcus(the friend). they are both married to rachel(not the same girl... there are 2 rachels in this story... no joke... i know... ok i will get on with the story now...)
recap, i was on the phone with friend marcus when cousin marcus emailed me. i returned the email to cousin marcus thinking i was making dinner plans with friend marcus. then i called friend marcus and made plans for dinner as cousin marcus was very confused about how i would eat dinner with him in texas. so cousin marcus emailed me to call him(cousin marcus), but i called friend marcus to make the plans. it wasnt until dinner when i was talking to friend marcus that this entire thing became so funny. because it was at that point that i realized that i had a cousin(named marcus) who had emailed me and i had called friend marcus to set up plans for dinner. then friend marcus and myself died laughing
this is a true story. someone tell marcus to read my blog
did i mention they are both from texas? that added to the confusion

That is freaking amazing. I love it when crazy, confusing, hilarious things happen like this.
FYI In order to make things slightly less confusion(but may cause confusion for a short while) I am going from thelonealto to Christi because I have been thelonealto for far to long, but I will always be Christi

This is hilarious. When I saw the title of your blog, I wondered what you would be writing about concerning cousin Marcus and Rachel. When I began reading it, I then remembered that friend Marcus was also married to a Rachel. Then I realized both cousin Marcus and friend Marcus could see you in The Woodlands. I know that cousin Marcus reads your blog and I hope friend Marcus does also because this is just too funny! Hello to both cousin Marcus and friend Marcus. By the way, I will be seeing cousin Marcus on your birthday (Brock) in January which is also his (cousin) and Rachel's anniversary! Add that to the mix! When is friend Marcus & Rachel's anniversary?
