every interview i do i get asked about criss angel. everyday i have people ask me about what i think about criss angel. he has a show on tv called mindfreak. i was actually on his show recently. it is a very successful series featuring criss doing all sorts of magic tricks, illusions, and stunts. we are very similar in creativity. sometimes it is scary how we both create effects that are the same. anyway, people want to know what i think about him, so here ya go.
i think criss is a nice guy. he is always very friendly to me and he is very down to earth. people think that he is using black magic to do his tricks. that is exactly what he, and the network executives, want you to believe. for people to think that it could be real magic causes controversy. guess what, controversy sells. i can assure you, 100%, without a doubt, he is not supernatural. everything you see him do on tv is a trick. when a person cant figure things out they tend to believe that it has to be supernatural. it makes them feel better about themselves to believe that than to believe they have been fooled. everything that you see him do could be done by most of you reading this. with enough practice you could do illusions that seem completely impossible. you could levitate, or escape from ropes, or pull a card out of the air. it is not supernatural, its illusion. here is a thought, dont believe everything you see on tv. when superman flies around the world, it is an illusion. when spiderman scales the wall, it is a trick to fool the eyes. for some reason its ok to watch the movies but when a magician does a trick people want to think that they are making a deal with the devil. dont be fooled, its all illusions. im telling you the truth, as a follower of jesus and a bible believer, i can show you how to do everything you see on tv. its not supernatural.
criss angel has done some great things for the art of magic. he has made magic cool, and relevant. for that i thank him. its great for me.
and oh, if you do ask me to tell you how he(or we) do it, never
i have signed too much paperwork
