cruise-part 1

first of all we took a cruise with celebrity cruises. my parents went with us as we cruised to the grand cayman island and then to key west. it was a 5 night cruise. my parents had never been on a cruise before so it was fun to watch them take it all in. this cruise so so nice. there was nothing that was not top notch. the food was great, and we ate plenty of it. auny and i were most relaxed in the persian gardens. this is a place with heated stone lounge chairs and turkish baths. we felt pampered in this place.
the greatest part of the cruise was when we went to stingray city. they took us out in the middle of the ocean to a sand bar. they feed stingrays there and they all come up so you can pet them and swim with them. they arent dangerous like everyone says. they are very cool. the guide even caught one so we could take some pictures. i thought if he could catch one then so could i. after about 15 minutes of chasing, i caught one. i picked him up and held it for about 5 minutes. it was the most amazing thing. to see these giant stingrays in the wild so up close was so great.

we hung out in grand cayman all day. we saw chickens crossing the road. we ate conch and we watched the water. oh, i forgot, we also went snorkeling. here is some underwater pictures of what we saw. my mom never snorkled before. when she got into the water she took off. 30 minutes later she was 200 yards away from the boat. i had to swim out there to her and guide her back to the boat. it was wild. snorkeling is one of my favorite things in the world to do. we had so much fun. there is an amazing world underneath that water.
