cruise-part 2

we took a quick stop in key west for a fun day of food and food. we went to a place called the blonde giraffe to try the frozen chocolate dipped key lime pie. it was amazing. after the pie on a stick we went into the local side of the city to find some cuban food. we ate a a great place called el siboney. for under ten bucks you can load up on the best cuban food in the area. roasted chicken and ropa vieja with a side of sweet plantains is what we chose to fill us up. so much food. after that we took a walk on the harbor and watched fish swim. an hour later it was back to another place for, yep you guessed it, frozen chocolate dipped key lime pie.
we went to the market at mallory square and watched the chickens cruise around the shops as if they owned the place. they posed for pictures and even smiled.
i also showed my parents where i used to perform. there was a great little place where they have the sunset festival where i was a street performer about 10 years ago. more about that another time.
after we got back on the boat we relaxed as much as possible. it was amazing to watch the sun go down as we set sail into the ocean.

i almost forgot. one of the best parts of the cruise was a restaurant called the murano. it was a special place for dinner. we had a harpist play by our table. the food was unbelievable and the experience was like none other. we were so impressed at the attention to detail and service. i truly felt like a king. we even had a cheese tasting after dinner before the desserts arrived. wow what an event

well for a borrowed suit you look pretty fly for a white guy.

As for the Cuban food you made me hungry. Sweet plantains are pretty awesome.
