south america
we had a blast in ecuador. i know just enough spanish to get by so it was alot of fun to mess around. the language barrier was a challenge to me and i welcomed it. of course i was goofy most of the time saying things that were strange to most people. the taxi drivers thought i was crazy and the maids became my best friends.
our hotel was near a river with an amazing river walk. we also were near a park called iguana park. there were hundreds of big iguanas hanging around. it was fun to see. the weather was perfect, about 75 or 80 degrees. the food was great, especially the seafood. we ate pangoras and langostas. which is stone crabs and lobsters. they were so cheap to buy but they were great tasting.
i would highly recommend ecuador as a vacation. it is very inexpensive to go and have a great time. they use american money and things cost much less. i plan to go back soon
