hotel adventures

i stay in hotels almost every night. for the past 10 years i have had some crazy hotel experiences. i have stayed in some great hotels in some of the best places in the world. i also have stayed in some of the worst hotels in the country. i typically know what hotel chains are good and the ones to stay away from. unfortunately i have to stay wherever people put me. i am totally at other peoples mercy when it comes to where i sleep and subsequently call home. sometimes i hate it. but many times i love it. all i ask for is that it is clean and i have a kingsize bed. rarely do i get both of those things at once.
tonight i checked into the hotel. at check in i made sure that it was a king size bed no smoking. she said,"yes, its a king no smoking". i went to the third floor and down to room 303, slid my key, and opened the door. it was not a king size bed,the bed was unmade, it wasnt clean, it wasnt a non smoking room, and worst of all there was someone staying in the room.
